About Kimberly

At the young age of four, I began to take an interest in photography. Whenever I could, I would use my mother's Olympus camera to take pictures of the squirrels in the backyard. My mother always tells me how she was amazed that a four year old was able to manipulate a camera and take such crisp, beautiful pictures. As I got older, photography was a one in a while hobby. For my 15th birthday I bought myself my first "professional" camera. I used it mainly to take pictures of my friends, teammates and their horses, and at horseback riding competitions. Late last year, after doing photoshoot for a friend and her boyfriend, the people closest to me pushed me to pursue a second career in photography. I was hesitant, but decided the worst that could happen, is nothing. So I took a chance and started Sunshine Photography, later renamed KT Photography. And here we are about a year later, and my business has grown into something I never dreamed possible! I never imagined myself having 2 careers, let alone photography being one of them. My only regret is not believing in myself enough to start the business sooner!
